DSF
Dubai Shopping Festival or DSF is the most awaited time of the year for people from around the world. This is the time when shoppers receive the maximum discounts and buy their favorite items at the lowest prices. The DSF was held from 15 December 2021 to 29 January 2022. DSF has a lot of attractions for everyone which are mentioned below:
Raffle Draws
Raffle draws are a major attraction for many people during the DSF. In order to take part in a raffle draw, one simply buys a ticket, and if their number is chosen at random, they get fabulous prizes. In 2021-2022, Nissan held the raffle draws. They promised amazing rewards in cash and in kind.
Entertainment
While some visitors are interested in raffles, others are interested in the entertainment that will take place at DSF. A captivating opening ceremony took place on 15th December 2021 at Burj Park which is located in Downtown Dubai. The visitors could also witness and enjoy performances by the stars Mohammed Hamaki and Balqees Fathi around the dancing fountains, which are located next to Burj Khalifa.
Food
There are many food-lovers in Dubai. Also, many tourists come to Dubai wanting to taste the local food made by very popular chefs. The souks are a great place to taste local food as well as street food. There are also food trucks that serve some of the most popular foods in the town. One could also try the different restaurants of Dubai to get the taste that soothes the taste buds.
However, the most awaited thing of DSF is the fireworks. They are eye-catching and colorful which attract visitors from all over the world. There were open ceremony fireworks at Al Seef, The Dubai Frame, Dubai Festival City Mall, La Mer, and Dubai Creek. There were also daily fireworks which continued till 22nd December.
Sky-high Shows
Another highlight for the nights is the sky-high shows that took place during the DSF 2022. The visitors could witness spectacular drone shows that took place daily at 7 pm and 9:30 pm. These took place at Bluewaters, Ain Dubai, and The Beach which is opposite JBR.
Tourists who are here just for the discounts and shopping also visit some of the great places in Dubai such as Dubai World Trade Tower, Dubai Frame, The Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Jumeirah Mosque, etc. The tour of the city leaves them flabbergasted, wanting for more.
